Brokenshire College among the Top 20 Schools in Openness Rank Nationwide

An international and independent organization, Ranking Web of Universities or webometrics, published a notable and reliable global research and Brokenshire College appears to be belonged in top 20 in their openness rank nationwide.

Among all the colleges and universities in the Philippines, the College ranked number 17 in the openness category according to the latest Webometrics survey that can be accessed at http://www.webometrics.info/en/Asia/Philippines?sort=asc&order=Openness%20Rank%2A. The survey shows that Brokenshire College is the only non-university institution that made it in top 20.

The webometrics is the largest academic ranking of Higher Education Institutions (HEI) and is ranking colleges and universities with subsequent indicators. Colleges and universities are ranked according to their impact, presence, openness, and excellence in web activity. Openness category focuses on the research journal publication that the institution has been able to publish via google scholar. This category is based on the active participation of the College in contributing to research repositories.

It is evident in the provided data of webometrics that Brokenshire College has institutionalized the conduct of research as one of its priority thrust. This is in response to the commitment of the College for continued quest for knowledge that can be utilized for growth and development.

The result of the web assessment affirms the commitment of Brokenshire College to ensure that quality researches reach the public knowledge through its online and paper publications. The gains achieved so far encourage Brokenshire College to continue such notable undertaking.

The College regularly publishes Southeast Asian Interdisciplinary Research Journal (SEAIRJ). Articles published in SEAIRJ may be viewed at http://www.brokenshire.edu.ph/bcjournal. The College will soon launch its three publications namely Akademia, Internal Policy and Review Journal, and Student Journal.
